Your new residence at Camelot of Broussard Assisted Living will be your own private apartment that you will furnish with belongings from home. You will want to bring various items to make your one-bedroom residence comfortable. To ease the transition to your new home, we have provided a list of items below to bring with you on move in day. - Furniture and lamps for your apartment
- Pictures to place on the walls to make your apartment feel like home
- Television, radio, and clock
- Telephone or cell phone
- Two sets of bed linens
- Two mattress pads
- Bath towels, wash cloths and dish towels
- Trash cans for the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom
- Shower curtain and rug for the bathroom
- Non-slip bath mat for showering in the bath tub
- Toilet paper
- Large Laundry basket (labeled with your name)
- Small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, etc)
- Dishes and silverware for your kitchen
- Ice cube trays for the freezer
- Medication organizer if self-medicating
- Prescription medications and over-the-counter medications
- Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, Kleenex, Depends, etc.)
- Paper towels
- Flashlight with batteries
- Snack foods and beverages of choice
- Coat hangers
- List of emergency family contact numbers and physician numbers
- List of food allergies, if any, to be given to the dietary manager.
- List of current medications (this is mandatory)
